Fund (LEF)
The Leisure Events Fund (LEF) supports events that drive key tourism outcomes and help position Singapore as one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
Is my business eligible?
To qualify for the INSPIRE programme, groups must:
- Open to all legal entities (businesses, associations, government bodies)
- Projects must be live or hybrid consumer events with tourism potential1
- Projects cannot have started before applying (no work, payments, or contracts signed before application)
How Will My Project Be Evaluated?
Projects are assessed on their ability to:
- Attract foreign visitors and increase tourism revenue
- Offer unique and innovative experiences
- Promote Singapore positively
- Engage and involve locals
- Include sustainability practices
Note:
Eligibility is subject to STB’s assessment
Foreign entities are encouraged to partner with local entities (joint venture or consortium)
Funding &
Qualifying.
Grantee will receive funding support for qualifying third-party project-related costs:
- Professional services (including audit and survey)
- Production (including equipment and materials)
- Marketing
Qualifying costs need to be:
- Incurred by (i.e., receipt of goods and services);
- Invoiced to; and
- Paid for by the grantee within the qualifying period to quality for disbursement.
How to apply?
- Prepare an executive summary (project objectives, description, schedule, and costs) using the provided template
- Submit it to [email protected]
- An SECB officer will review and advise on your project’s eligibility
- If eligible, submit a full application through the Business Grants Portal
Estimated processing time
Processing takes up to 90 days from receipt of your completed, signed application and any supporting documents.
Grant Disbursement
Grants are reimbursed after verifying qualifying costs and meeting project deliverables.
Grantees must submit an Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) Report and supporting documents, unless stated otherwise.
