BEiS Grant: Fact-Based Guide for Event Organisers in Singapore

Introduction.

Eligible companies may receive partial funding for qualifying costs such as third-party services, content development, marketing, and bidding.

Support is awarded based on project scope, merit, and a competitive evaluation.

The project scope will be assessed based on the following criteria:

  • Event Programme
  • Event Content and Brand
  • Size of Event
  • Duration of Event
  • Attendees’ Profiles (including number of foreign visitorship)
  • Sustainability initiatives for the event

Funding Support for third-party costs:

  1. Professional services
  2. Networking events
  3. Content creation
  4. Social experiences
  1. Logo usage
  2. Event listing on VisitSingapore.com/mice
  3. Venue facilitation
  4. Site visit hosting

Support for sustainable practices:

  1. No single-use materials
  2. Carbon offsetting
  3. Certified sustainable suppliers
  4. Promotion of public transport

Funding covers qualifying third-party project costs, including:

  • Professional services
  • Content development
  • Marketing
  • Bidding activities

To be eligible, costs must be:

  • Incurred
  • Invoiced to
  • Paid by the grantee within the qualifying period.
  1. Prepare an executive summary (project objectives, description, schedule, and costs) using the provided template.
  2. Submit it to [email protected]
  3. An SECB officer will review and advise on your project’s eligibility.
  4. If eligible, submit a full application through the Business Grants Portal.

Processing takes up to 90 days from receipt of your completed, signed application and any supporting documents.

Grants are reimbursed after verifying qualifying costs and meeting project deliverables.
Grantees must submit an Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) Report and supporting documents, unless stated otherwise.
